Do we fit?

In some cases we will come and do the fitting ourselves. This is confined to the local area. We do not under take any building work at all.

What coatings come on the windows and doors?

For external work we like to a least prime with an Aluminium primer. We can also put on a preservative and then prime in white, or, we can use the Dulux 1 2 3 system. Basically, if the client has got a preference we can usually put on what ever is needed. We can also offer the joinery to be delivered with under coat on.

Do we come out and measure?

We like to price off of a drawing, and then if the price is acceptable we would come out and measure. These measurements are then sent to the client for confirmation by who ever is doing the fitting. This does not happen if we are to under take the fitting.

Do doors come hung in the frames?

Some times we can do this. It is not always a good thing to do because of the weight and that if the opening is slightly out of square, there is nothing left to play with on the doors. Again, furniture and locks can be fitted prior to delivery.

How long does the work take?

Depends how busy we are. In the summer sometimes we can be 8-12 weeks in front, and in the winter it sometimes goes down to 2-3 weeks in front. Because we are a purpose made joinery, we do not carry any items in stock, every thing is made for the client to order.
