We do a large amount of staircases.

All of these meet part 'k' of the building regulations. The only exception is in a listed building were these regulations cannot be met. We do all stairs from cut, mitred and bracketed for large hallways, down to ones for loft conversions. We can do stairs in many different timbers.

The finish of the doors and windows can vary.

Mostly we deliver the work primed with aluminium primer, but any kind of finish can be discussed. We have different treatments for different clients such as clear timber preservative and then primed, base stain, 3 coats of stain or old fashioned primed and 2 under coat. We tend not to put on the topcoat of any finish, as it will always be damaged in transportation and installation.

We do many kinds of doors to suit all houses.

We can match ones of a particular style. This is mainly for house extensions to keep the same style of door all the way through the house. The main ones are Bead & Butt doors, 4 panel London doors, French doors, garage doors, front and back doors. All these doors can be made for polishing, staining or painting to suit the style and budget of the client. We do not do sliding or by-fold doors.

The bespoke joinery we do will by its definition be very wide ranging.

We have also made green houses for one of the last intact Victorian walled gardens in England.
